Winter of 2019/Spring 2020 - Repairs are completed!
The pool cover for the winter had to be replaced. The cover was torn and close to 1/3 of the pins were missing or broken. The new cover and repaired pins worked well to protect the pool over the winter and will last us for many years to come.
A final touch - the edging seam around the pool and tile's edge is now finished. The pool surface has been cleaned and is ready for a fresh start to the new swimming season! The underwater lights had to be replaced and will be back on track for keeping on the lighting schedule, as usual.
Have you noticed that the property around the pool has been getting the regular TLC as well? In addition to the lawn and trail area, you will notice that the flower beds out front have gotten a clean-up. Also, the tree by the pool house was treated to prevent the return of last year's insect problems.

2019 - Due to our aging pool and a perfect storm of factors including ground conditions and temperature:
* Deep end of the pool pipe fracture at elbow. * Shallow end of the pool pipe fracture - more than 8' of underground piping replaced. * Pool Cover support pins - replace broken and missing pins. * Repair process revealed that our pumps did not meet current safety standards, so they were corrected. |
